This is a personal blog owned and written by Vesna Milojević (Belgrade, Serbia). The website address is: http://missoptimist.net and the website is referred to as Blog MissOptimist.net in the text below.
Please note that Blog MissOptimist.net is built on the WordPress.org platform/software, uses some third party plug ins (will be listed below) and is connected with a Google Analytics account.
What personal data we collect and why we collect it
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
There are no contact forms on the Blog MissOptimist.net.
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.
If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
When visitors subscribe the newsletter we collect the data shown in the subscription form. The plug-in service (ALO EasyMail Newsletter) also tries to collect some recipient actions on newsletters: newsletter views, clicks on links, so that we could improve the quality of the emails we are sending to you. Subscribers can edit or remove own newsletter subscription through unsubscription link provided in each newsletter. Subscribers can contact the website administrators (firstname.lastname@example.org) to export or remove their subscription data.

Akismet Anti-Spam collects information about visitors who comment on Blog MissOptimist.net. The information Akismet Anti-Spam collects includes the commenter’s IP address, user agent, referrer and the website URL (along with other information directly provided by the commenter such as their name, username, email address, and the comment itself).
- ALO EasyMail Newsletter
When visitors subscribe the newsletter we collect the data shown in the subscription form. ALO EasyMail Newsletter tries to collect some recipient actions on newsletters: newsletter views, clicks on links. Subscribers can edit or remove own newsletter subscription through unsubscription link provided in each newsletter. Subscribers can contact the website administrators to export or remove own subscription data.

How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
Your contact information
You can provide your contact information to us in two ways – either when applying for our newsletter as stated above or when leaving a comment. It is exaplained above how it works. If you have any question regarding these matters please write to email@example.com. If you want an exported file of the personal data we hold about you or to delete any personal data we hold about you, please also send your request to firstname.lastname@example.org (please find more information on this below).
Export or erase your personal data from WordPress.org software and ALO EasyMail Newsletter
If you want to export your personal data collected at Blog MissOptimist.net, please send your request to email@example.com. You will receive an exported file of your personal data we hold about you sent to your email.
If you want to erase your personal data collected at Blog MissOptimist.net, please also send your request to firstname.lastname@example.org. You will receive a confirmation that the data have been deleted sent to your email. Please note this means you’ll be unsubscribed from our newsletter after doing this. You can subscribe again any time if you wish to do so. As of this moment, it is not possible to erase your data and keep your subscription to our newsletter, so if this is what you want to do, just erase your data and subscribe to the newsletter again.
Please note that if you leave a comment on Blog MissOptimist.net and then opt to erase data, your comment will stay on our website – but your name, email and website (if provided) will be gone and the content will be anonymous. If you want the very comment removed, just send an email to email@example.com, provide details about the comment (the post or the page where the comment is posted) and it will be gone too.
